Thank you for visiting the Helpdesk System. We’ve developed this site to be accessible from any device with an internet connection, so you do not need to be connected to the College network to lodge a fault report or request devices be authorised on the network for internet services. Our Engineers will respond to your requests via email as we do not have onsite or telephone support, so make sure you monitor your email for any replies from the Team.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be advised that the use of any personal network routers, hubs or extenders are prohibited as they cause severe disruptions to the network services for yourself and others. If you have a wireless printer, please use a standard USB cable to connect it to your devices. We are unable to securely add wireless printers to the network for your exclusive use, so for your own security we cannot support wireless printers on the network.
The connection guide reviews connecting most Windows, Apple and Android devices to the network. When enrolling your devices to the network, please only connect them ONCE. Additional reconnection attempts to “fix” a problem most often results in the corruption of the network profile and security settings on the device. If this has happened, please lodge a Fault Report to let us know as we can send you instructions on correcting the problem.
If you are experiencing connection stability or performance issues, we strongly advise reviewing our troubleshooting page as the information here may help you resolve the issue quickly. If these steps do not resolve the issue, you can lodge a fault report from there so our Engineers can begin investigating the problem.
Devices such as gaming consoles, Kindle Readers and streaming devices need to be authorised on the network using the device MAC Address. We’ve prepared some instructions for locating the MAC Address for many devices, though this is not a complete list.If your device is not listed, please check with the manufacturer on how to locate this information. Once you have the MAC Address, complete the Device Request Form to submit the information to our Engineers.
Important Note about Work Laptops: If your laptop has been supplied by your employer, it will not connect to the network through the normal process. Please follow instructions in this section to locate the WiFi MAC Address and lodge a Connection Request so it can be added manually.
We would love to know your thoughts on the network, whether good or bad. If you have a moment, please leave your comments on the Feedback form.
